This jigsaw is specifically designed for cutting tubes and smaller objects in challenging environments, offering superior ergonomics that larger jigsaws cannot provide in such situations. It is the ideal tool for eg. plumbers.
The design
The design is centered on the saw blade’s ability to rotate in two directions, allowing the user to cut both toward and away from themselves. For the aesthetics, I aimed to align the jigsaw with the Bosch Professional product line. To achieve this, I studied their existing products and incorporated their design DNA into the jigsaw’s overall look.
